Singer and bass player Annette Zilinskas was born on November 6, 1962 in Van Nuys, California. She grew up in Southern California. Annette was the original bassist for the Bangles from 1981 to 1983. Zilinskas plays both bass and harmonica on the group's self-titled debut EP. She left the Bangles in 1983 and became the lead singer for the band Blood on the Saddle; she was part of this group up until 1989. Annette appears as a member of the evil punk rock band the She Devils in the hilarious "Desperate Teenage Lovedolls." From 1991 to 1993 Zilinskas was a member of the L.A. band the Ringling Sisters. Moreover, Annette Zilinskas has been a vocalist for several groups throughout the years: Medicine in 1991, the Leading Trains in 1994, 3 Hole Punch in 1997, and Furry Things in 1998.
